A News Round-Up of 2016 Holiday Season Hiring Predictions

The National Retail Federation predicts retailers will bring on 640,000-690,000 temporary workers this holiday season. Here’s how that number stacks up against previous years.


Now that we’re into the month of October, the countdown is on. Many of the largest retailers have already announced their hiring plans. Department stores Macy’s, Target, Kohl’s and JCPenney are planning to bring on a total of 269,500 seasonal workers combined.
