Shiftgig Celebrates #ILookLikeAnEngineer One-Year Anniversary

Last week, it had been a year since the ground-breaking hashtag #ILookLikeAnEngineer surfaced, fighting stereotypes associated with the field of engineering in the tech world. The hashtag, created by female Enterprise Software Engineer Isis Anchalee,  increased awareness of women in engineering through inspiring others all over the United States to share their photos and job descriptions with the hashtag. Here at Shiftgig, we take pride in all of our talented engineers and in honor of the one year anniversary of the #ILookLikeAnEngineer hashtag, our team was excited to share their expertise and partcipate in the movement to raise awareness of women in these type of fields.
